The FoodNexus ‘Ready-to-go’ project Continuing education for food professionals’ application, submitted by a strategic partnership of six universities, has been granted 321.625 Euro from the Erasmus+ programme.

This grant was given to the project ’Boosting relevant and applicable continuing education in the food sector’, an Erasmus+ strategic partnership application, which aims to create tools that should also be useful to other institutions than to those directly involved in the project.

The project runs for 36 month from 1 September 2017 to 30 August 2020. The participating partners are University of Copenhagen, University of Bologna, Polytechnical University of Valencia, Wageningen University, Technical University of Denmark and Universität für Bodenkultur Wien. A long list of industrial participants will be involved through workshops.

With this grant from the Erasmus+ programme the ‘Ready-to-go’ project gets a good start of developing new multidisciplinary, innovative and flexible education modules for food professionals.
