  • Call for ideas: Urban food from residual heat

    In collaboration with Vinnova and a Swedish project consortium, Climate-KIC is facilitating a ground breaking Open Innovation process to come up with a method of utilizing waste residual heat from industry in urban food production. The competition serves as a crowdsourcing mechanism for four Swedish municipalities: Malmö, Lund, Oskarshamn and Bjuv; who are looking for solution proposals of all kinds, relating to all aspects of the project.

  • Engaging in digital conversation with consumers on diet and wellbeing

    Why not learn from the best? This was the idea behind the Food Nexus Ready-to-go project on consumers, health and wellbeing, coordinated by Danone Nutricia Research (link). In order to achieve this, a panel of speakers was invited to the FoodNexus workshop, held on 26 April 2017 in Amsterdam. Representatives from IBM, Richfields and Institut Paul Bocuse were present to share their unrivalled experience in engaging with consumers.
